You are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Liberty Plaza located at Capital Ave SW Atlanta, GA 30334 from 10am – 2pm to share in the day’s events by engaging in short talk-back golf sessions, local golf outing sign-ups, club fitting, lunch, and an opportunity to meet women golfers from around Georgia. The keynote speaker for the lunch portion of the event is Dr. Catherine Lewis, Assistant Vice President of Museums, Archives & Rare Books; Director of the Museum of History and Holocaust Education; and Professor of History at Kennesaw State University.
For your viewing pleasure, we will showcase golf apparel to ensure you can both look and feel your best on the course. Our goal is to enable women and girls to experience golf for the first time, as well as encourage current and former golfers to play and engage with other women interested in golf. There will also be music provided by Jammin’ DJ’s and a golf simulator from Mobile Golf Events.
This event is free and open to both women and girls. We encourage women to bring their moms, daughters, nieces, granddaughters, family, and friends. It is our intention to create a new norm for the next generation of women by empowering them at a young age to embrace golf.
